Replacement dwelling on a sensitive site in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Co Down countryside. This project represented a design challenge within the constraints of its location and local planning policy. Dressed in natural stone, the house highlights the use of vernacular building materials typically found in that part of rural Northern Ireland and is a contemporary response in traditional form. |
